Vinal Tech Students Get a Behind-the-Scenes Tour of Sirois Tool
Sirois Tool Was Proud to Host Students Who Will Help Lead Manufacturing in the Years to Come
Twenty-two students from Vinal Technical High School in Middletown recently visited Sirois Tool in Berlin to learn more about our operations. The group included 19 freshmen who are considering going into the Manufacturing Technology Department, as well as three students who are currently enrolled in the Mechanical Design and Engineering Department.
The students met with Sirois Tool employees who explained how they got into manufacturing and what their jobs involve. The group then got a full tour of our different departments, and before they left, each student received a special Sirois Tool gift.
Like all manufacturers, we are concerned about filling the pipeline with skilled workers to meet future job needs. We encourage educators to bring their high school and college students to tour our facility and learn more about the challenging and rewarding job opportunities available in manufacturing.
