The Expansion Continues as the Sirois Tool EDM Department Grows
The masons have been working steady for a few weeks now and plan to finish their work by month end. The steel is scheduled for delivery and placement (by crane) on July 1st.
The scale layout photo (see below) illustrates the equipment for the new EDM department; which will be using 1800 square feet of the addition. This is almost double the space they current have. This will also allow room for adding more EDM/WEDM equipment and enhance the capabilities of the department, as well as, having its own dedicated HVAC system to allow more accurate temperature control for the close tolerance work they do.
Sirois Tool EDM work includes: Chamilles Robofil Wire, Herman-Schmidt indexer/Spinner, Hitachi 355R Wire, Chamilles HD20 & Elenix EDM Hole Drills, Charmilles RoboForm 20, and Mitsubishi EA12V Advanced.
