Developing tomorrow’s workforce has been a priority at Sirois Tool for years. We’re continually fostering the next generation of skilled tool and gage makers through the Department of Labor’s Apprenticeship program. Through this program, we provide promising students from regional trade schools with hands-on training and practical experience under the guidance of our skilled machinists and tool and gage makers.

Many of the young people we’ve mentored as student apprentices have graduated and are now full-time Sirois Tool employees. In some cases, they have risen to management roles. For example, we have an Assistant Production Manager who started working with us as a Pre-Apprentice from Vinyl Tech.

We also offer tuition reimbursement. One of our employees used our reimbursement program to earn his bachelor’s degree in manufacturing management at Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) and is working for us as one of our Manufacturing Engineers.
