New Manufacturing Jobs Expected As Sirois Tool Grows
Sirois Tool’s expansion is moving forward at a rapid pace. The construction site looks different each day as significant changes are made to the project.
In support of this expansion project, Sirois Tool has been approved for a Small Business Express Program Matching Grant from the Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD).
DECD grants and loans support the growth of small businesses in Connecticut. The financial assistance provides for an increase in skill development and the creation of new jobs. New manufacturing jobs are meant to have a positive impact on Connecticut’s economy.
For Sirois Tool, the growth includes the addition of several manufacturing positions to an already skilled workforce. These positions include skilled machinists and tool makers.
Sirois Tool provides a benefits package that’s second-to-none in their industry. They believe in paying employees top wages and in return have created a high-performance workforce.
Many employees have been with Sirois Tool for over twenty years. The expansion will help grow Connecticut’s manufacturing workforce and improve the precision tooling and gage industry.
