New EDM and WEDM Expansion Is Completed
The WEDM/EDM Department is open and operating in the new expansion. The 1,800 sq. ft. addition nearly doubles the amount of space for this department, making room for the purchase of new EDM and WEDM equipment.
The expansion increases the WEDM/EDM department’s capacity to meet customers’ tooling needs, and continues Sirois Tool’s commitment to provide new capabilities and superior reliability and quality.
The new workspace includes a separate HVAC system for more efficient temperature control, which is critical to close tolerance WEDM/EDM work. A dedicated programming office and improved lighting system are also part of the addition’s enhancements.
Moving the WEDM/EDM department opens up room in the original building for a consolidated and more efficient Assembly, Inventory, and Shipping Departments. Sirois Tool also has a much larger Quality Department, enlarged office space, and room to reorganize the shop floor.
Sirois Tool’s expansion advances its high quality products and service, and continues to give customers lower costs and shorter lead times for all custom tooling and gage requirements.
This expansion has opened up new employment opportunities. These include…
- Precision Surface Grinding Specialist
