5. Keep Your Data Safe. They comply with all current industry, state, and federal cybersecurity requirements. The Department of Defense (DoD) recently established the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program to verify contractors have implemented the necessary security measures to safeguard Federal Contract Information (FCI) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Contractors who don’t comply with the CMMC will not be awarded DoD contracts.
