Leaders of the Shooting Sports Industry Get a Great Turnout at Summit
The recent National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) painted a positive picture for the future of hunting and target shooting. At the June Summit held in Springfield, MA, industry leaders and speakers shared their ideas on improving the industry’s initiatives.
Alan Ortner from Sirois Tool and Dow Gage, attended the summit on June 10th. He stated that “the event was very well attended. The focus of this Summit was on promoting the shooting sports to non-traditional groups, including women, minorities and the millennial generation.”
“The seminar speakers were experts in their fields and provided some great information. The shooting sports industry, including most State Fish & Wildlife organizations, and the Firearms Manufacturers, are totally behind this initiative, so the future looks very bright.” Alan also said.
