The following position is currently available:
Business Development Manger
As the Business Development Manager, you will handle all related new and developing customer relations and process customer-related documentation from time of quote to final delivery of product.
Here’s What You’ll be Doing.
- Maintain Current client relationships: Manage day to day interactions with customers including processing of quotations, orders, engineering questions and all other communications between company and customer in close communication with Senior Customer Service Manager.
- Develop new business: Develop customer relationships, attend trade shows, and perform customer site visits; strategize and develop business growth opportunities. Stay up to date on industry developments, using that knowledge to improve the organization and its prospecting efforts.
- Participate In: development and execution of sales and marketing strategy.
- Manage: marketing related vendors.
- Backup: other Customer Managers.
- Fulfill: ISO Quality System requirement as required.
- Generate: continuous improvement ideas for the department.
Do You Have What It Takes?
- Computer skills. (Microsoft Outlook, Work, Excel), experience with an ERP System would be ideal and experience with E2 Shoptech/JobBoss2 and Paperless Parts would be a big plus.
- Aptitude in math and blueprint reading.
- Interpersonal skills. (Listens, clearly communicates, and provides both internal and external customer service).
- Negotiation skills. (Presents, listens, seeks common ground for a win-win, and is appropriately assertive when necessary).
- Organization and planning skills. (Quickly finds answers to questions, minimizes mistakes, properly prioritizes tasks, and maintains a clean work area.)
- CAD and drafting skills.
- Team oriented. (Works well with others and pitches in as necessary to get the job done.)
